Convention Unity? How about Political Olympics!

The Olympics will be over Sunday….gang…but the Political Olympics are coming soon at the Democratic Convention in the Mile High City of Denver.

So what else is new? There is tension my friends, mile high tension. Uh huh, Man is there tension! Trouble right here in Mile High City!

UPDATE: Insult has been added to injury and total lack of respect claims the many HC supporters when the knowledge that Hillary was ‘dissed’ by not being on the short list as a possible VP, then add the insult of no communication with her, leaving her in the dark has certainly left them with no salve for their wound. Now add the 3 am text….There’s trouble behind the scenes in Mile High City. By the way, Did Obama not say that the supporters would hear of his selection first by text? Funny how somebody close leaked it to the Media several hours before 3 am.

The question on everyone’s mind is just what will happen? Will the Clinton camp have some surprises? Or are they being saved up for later? Will Hillary upstage Obama? Does she really mean it when she says she supports Nobama? What is going on outside? Anti Illegal immigration protests? Live Bloggers? Lots and lots of Security for sure.

The real drama is in the Convention…Will the 40 or so assigned to hold down and manage the HC supporters be enough? Are they sick and tired of being bamboozled? Is Obama sick and tired of the Clintonistas? Whoo Hoo! Would you not love to really know what is going on behind the scenes? I have searched in this quest and I can tell you, the bloggers are alive and well. The HC supporters for the most part are still spitting mad and are NoBamas. Many of the Obama bloggers are being paid to blog with his views, did ya know that?

Obama is slipping in the polls, so his body language does not look too happy even though his mouth says otherwise. LOL! Look for him to continue to be more forceful and to play as dirty as normal politicians do than the Original Man of Change as the 4 million dollar man with one house has been this week and of course, don’t forget a lot is above his paygrade.. Let’s be honest. Neither candidate is hurting for Jack. Or homes. Or anything else they may want. Neither is really like you and me. But wait, this is about the feelings of those behind the scenes at the Democratic Convention and Nobama. I just can’t resist. Read on my friends, read the whole story from the sources below. While there, check out some things we might not have known about Nobama. Can that be possible in Blogland? Keep checking in, More will be on the way..betcha!

There’s trouble in paradise. Cancel the coronation. Send back the commemorative medals. Put those “Yes We Can” T-shirts up on eBay. Keep the Change. (Of course, you can still spend George Soro’s money with a free button, sorry they are out of free t-shirts..)

Barack Obama’s historic procession to the American presidency has been rudely interrupted. The global healing he promised is in jeopardy. If you’re prone to emotional breakdown, you might want to take a seat before I say this. He might not win.

How can it be, you ask? Didn’t we see him just last month speaking to 200,000 adoring Germans in Berlin? Didn’t he get the red carpet treatment in France – France of all places? Doesn’t every British politician want to be seen clutching the hem of his garment?

All true. But as cruel geography and the selfish designs of the American Founding Fathers would have it, Europeans don’t get to choose the US president. Somewhere along the way to the Obama presidency, somebody forgot to ask the American people. Yep, we are just looking for a President that wants to the leader of our country, not the world. We are kinda funny that way, most of us do like our soverignty.

The Convention obligations-fictitious?

It will start with a speech that Hillary Clinton is obliged to deliver, endorsing Barack Obama. Her prime-time slot is allegedly a consolation prize for not being considered for the vice-presidential portfolio, although as consolations go it makes those citizens of Denver who ended up purchasing a two cent chunk of soap for a dollar look fortunate. The text can be predicted in advance (“it was a long, hard, fight but we remained close friends throughout, now I will campaign my heart out for him” etc), but it will be totally fictitious.

Mr Obama and the Clintons utterly loathe each other. She (and her husband) continue to believe that she would have been the stronger contender against John McCain (probably true), that she was denied the prize because they were out-hustled in organisational terms, not real votes cast (valid), and that the Illinois Senator is little more than a charming schmoozer (a plausible assertion, although how ex-President Clinton can offer it with apparent outrage is surreal).

The Clinton-Obama display of unity will make the Nazi-Soviet Pact look like an event rooted in profound principle. She is aching for him to lose so that she can inherit the earth at the second time of asking come 2012. Never mind Mr McCain, she would prefer that Monica Lewinsky rather than Mr Obama was elected to the Oval Office this November. read more below from Tim Hanes at the bottom of page.

Obama-Own-Words-2 Hillary-Gerth-2

An attractive, intelligent man, interesting, but—he’s hard to categorize. Is he Gen. Obama? No, no military background. Brilliant Businessman Obama? No, he never worked in business. Famous Name Obama? No, it’s a new name, an unusual one. Longtime Southern Governor Obama? No. He’s a community organizer (what’s that?), then a lawyer (boo), then a state legislator (so what, so’s my cousin), then U.S. senator (less than four years!).

There is no pre-existing category for him.

Mr. Obama’s upcoming convention speech will be good. All Obama speeches are good. Not as interesting as he is—he is more compelling as a person than his words tend to be in text. But the speech will be good, and just in case it isn’t good, people will still come away with an impression that it must have been, because the media is going to say it was, because they expect it to be, and what they expect is what most of them will see.

Will Mr. Obama dig deep as to meaning? As to political predicates? During the primary campaigns Republicans were always saying, “This is what I’ll do.” Mr. Obama has a greater tendency to say, “This is how we’ll feel.” Republicans talk to their base with, “If we pass this bill, which the Democrats irresponsibly oppose, we’ll solve this problem.” Democrats are more inclined toward, “If we bring a new attitude of hopefulness and respect for the world, we’ll make the seas higher and the fish more numerous.” Will Mr. Obama be, in terms of programs and plans, specific? And will his specifics be grounded in something that appears to amount to a political philosophy? More at

Have we really listened to Obama’s words?

It would be hard to make a better case against a Barack Obama presidency than the one Obama has made in his own words. The most memorable thing about Obama’s speeches is not generally what he says, but rather how large and enthusiastic the audiences are. If voters pay attention only to the symbolism and get caught up in the excitement of the Obamessiah and his throngs of fainting disciples, he stands a good chance of winning in November. If voters pay attention instead to the things Obama is saying, the case against an Obama presidency will be clear.

OBAMA HATES Cristi Adkins

Cristi Adkins is mad as hell at Barack Obama, and she isn’t going to take it — his narcissistic, thuggish, dishonest campaign — anymore.
Cristi is one of the most effective “Hillary Supporters”, a woman who’s working 14-hour-days to ensure the defeat on Nov. 4 of the man she calls “Hussein.” She calls him that because she believes — correctly — that he has only a tangential connection to American values. His history demonstrates that he’s much more at home in Kenya than in mainstream America, which is too “bitter” for his rarified tastes.

Obama and his sycophants despise what Cristi, a co-founder of Clintons4McCain and NobamaMission, is doing, and they’ve responded by initiating a campaign of hatred and innuendo against her. Read more over at and Please read the rest at Campaign2008VictoryA

Cristi is a mom (two teenagers and a three-year-old), a wife, a veteran (former MP), and a nurse. The father of her two teenagers just came home from a combat tour in Afghanistan. In short, she’s the kind of American with whom Obama and his fellow elitists have nothing in common.

Why does she bug Obams so much? Mainly because she’s frequent guest on shows hosted by people by Neil Cavuto, Sean Hannity, Jim Bohannon. She’s even been on the “Daily Show.” Right now, she’s headed to Denver to “Just Say No Deal” to Barack H. Obama. She’s a force in contemporary politics.

For that reason, she’s been the target of absurd attacks by bloggers who serve as cheerleaders for BHO. Many of the people reading this blog. Were you aware that Obama PAYS his bloggers? Most of them get roughly $7 an hour, and some apparently receive much more. That would come as news to people who visit their sites and believe they’re getting something approximating “straight talk.” In fact, those bloggers are presenting all the “news” that fits with the Obama agenda.

In NoBama Mission Bloggers, a brainchild of Cristi Adkins and others in the NoBama Mission effort, there will be 200 blogs by the end of this day. How many of them are paid by anyone? A grand total of zero. They are all volunteers — just like me, just like Cristi, just like the other tens of thousand of people who center their lives around the NoBama effort.

Nobama’s friends in Low Places

Liberalism is often a problem at the presidential level. Cultural liberalism is a burden. Haughty cultural liberalism is a disaster in the making. For good or ill, the presidency is a cultural institution as much as it is a political institution. And it’s fundamentally a culturally conservative one. Fair or not, many perceive Obama as a cultural outsider. This week, Chicago Mayor Richard Daley said of Obama’s friendship with former left-wing domestic terrorist Bill Ayers: “They’re friends. So what?”

Psephologist and columnist Michael Barone noticed during the primaries that, with the exception of the black vote, Obama’s support within the Democratic party is comprised almost entirely of cultural liberals. He dubbed this intra-Democratic split a divide between “academics and Jacksonians.” The Jacksonians are working-class, culturally conservative whites. The academics are the same people who formed the base for Howard Dean, Bill Bradley, Michael Dukakis, Gary Hart, George McGovern, and other successful presidents in the anti-matter universe where Spock has a goatee.
