BIG OIL GOUGING? What About Leadership Gouging?

We are all concerned about higher gas prices…can you imagine making 10-15 dollars an hour and having to commute 40 miles to your job one way? We are not talking Europe here where they have transportation rails and buses in their areas. Yeah maybe in New York, and large cities..but meanwhile what about the heartland?

.Our country was built on pretty cheap oil and we are spread out, sprawling suburbia, rural and long commutes..

You cannot possibly compare our gas prices to Europes. This should have been taken care of a long time ago..in the 70’s to be exact. Now we have all the environmentalists and greenies and our Government choking us as far as drilling goes..

So now we have the presidential candidates running around telling voters that they will help solve high gas prices. Well, if you believe that, you’ll believe that Hugo Chavez drives a Yugo. It’s just bull.

Both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are calling for “investigations” into “price gouging” by American oil companies. Good. There’s plenty of price manipulation going on and, under Presidents Bush and Clinton, little federal oversight. If a big oil company wants to tighten supply, for example, it’s a snap. Just slow down the refinery process by ordering some extra “maintenance” or something.

But who is going to investigate Senators Obama and Clinton over their opposition to oil drilling? The Democratic Party has consistently opposed new drilling, and nuclear energy as well. Even the dedicated liberal governments in France and Sweden bought into nuclear. But not the American left, no way.

We have oil in Alaska, the East Coast, The Gulf Coast that we are not drilling…a big ha ha from other countries ..don’t think for a minute Russia or China or Europe would not be using their own resources.

The price of gasoline is not set by Big Oil. It is set by futures exchanges around the world and is a direct result of supply and demand. As the world’s demand for gasoline has increased, it has all but exhausted the world’s surplus production capacity. No new refineries have been built in the U.S. since 1976. That is really looking out for us here at home…don’t ya think?

Governments own three-quarters of the world’s known reserves. Flush with oil revenue, these countries have little incentive to expand their production.

The U.S. is the third-largest oil producer. However, our government has restricted the supply of oil in the ground by putting more and more of our known reserves off limits, specifically parts of Alaska, the Pacific and Atlantic coasts and the Gulf of Mexico. In fact, Exxon – the top U.S. company – is ranked only 14th in the world in terms of oil reserves. In addition, our government has made it more difficult to build and refine oil into gasoline.

Yes we need to conserve, yes we need to be innovative like Americans have always been..Do we really need to be using our food sources? We are paying a high price for that now and I am afraid it will be higher in the future..shortages are already hurting people and it’s coming to America and I’m not talking Neil Diamonds song.

A Government Engineered Food Crisis

May Be Subject To Food Rations, Warns UN

On the Republican side, President Bush has done absolutely nothing about rising gas prices, which is part of the reason is approval rating is approaching 20%. He blames the Democrats. Fine. But the President should be telling all Americans to cut back their gas consumption just a little. He should be urging us to use less gas. That would at least cut into foreign oil’s record profit margins.

Senator John McCain proposes a gas tax “holiday” this summer. True, that would save the folks a few bucks, but it would also add to the massive spending deficit. McCain is not going to rock the boat to make us ‘independent’ either. The government better start balancing the budget soon before Häagen-Dazs becomes more valuable than the U.S. currency.

The sad truth is that both political parties have sold out the folks. For decades, economists knew China and India were industrializing and those countries would demand much greater amounts of oil. Everybody knew that OPEC could slow down production and gouge the world if it could and, of course, now it can.

But if Americans would get angry and begin punishing the foreign oil bandits conserve, Use as much of our own resources as possible..then prices would drop. However, we are often a selfish people. We want those gas-guzzling Hummers and SUVs, and we’re paying a big price for that above and beyond the sticker.

We can buy less gas, urging folks to conserve energy in creative ways without falling into the Gore and his bunch green crap. We can be innovative..We can drill where we have not..We can build cars that get a lot of mileage..and they don’t have to be so little that we can barely get in and out..why not? We are the ones who got to the moon first! Are there now so many regulations that it does not pay to invent? What in the World has happened to America? Don’t answer…we already know..we are captives to globilazation, political correctness, just look at how we cannot say Jihad, thanks to Connie Rice…thats just for starters and leaders in both parties that pander to the vote now and in the future…They are not the ones that are going to have their way of life changed here…need I remind you?

Instead They will create peer pressure against the guzzle crowd. They will use your children, guilt trip coming America..this oil stuff is all our fault..let’s just suck it up, conserve ..turn that heat down or off..air conditioning…who needs it? just open the windows.buy different light bulbs…of course, do you really think the carbon credit folks will be uncomfortable? Don’t bet on it..once in a while to look good they will pay some carbon credits..  Just watch the commercials Al Gore is bringing to us in prime time next season for the grand sum of 300 million.

I am all for profit and big profits, that is why most people work..to better their lives..however there is a fine line between profits making good money and extreme greed. Without profits there would be no jobs…of course, many of our jobs that make a living wage have gone overseas for cheap labor and that supports those countries.

To be fair,Profits reflect the size of an industry, and the oil industry is HUGE! From 2003 to 2007, average earnings for the oil and natural gas industry were approximately 8.1 cents for every dollar of sales, which was only a penny above the average of all U.S. manufacturing industries.
In fact, in 2007, the oil and natural gas industry earned 8.3 cents for every dollar of sales compared to 7.3 cents for all U.S. manufacturing. When you take out the financially challenged auto industry, U.S. manufacturing came out slightly ahead of oil and gas, earning 8.9 cents for every dollar of sales.
the oil companies aren’t owned by a few high rollers. Only 1.5 percent of industry shares are owned by company executives. The rest is owned by people like you and me. If you have a mutual fund or IRA, there is a good chance you own a piece of the oil industry you are looking to vilify.
Oddly enough, our oil and gas companies pay more in taxes, as a percentage of their income, than our manufacturing companies. In 2006, the oil and gas companies’ income tax expenses averaged 40.7 percent, compared to 22.1 percent for U.S. manufacturing companies.
The oil industry is capital intensive, and necessity dictates that the lion’s share of a company’s earnings must be reinvested. These costs remain high in boom periods, like the one the industry is now experiencing, as well as bust periods, like the one that occurred in the 1990s.
Also, it is important to remember that companies do not pay taxes, individuals do. Taxes must be passed along to consumers as part of the cost of doing business. Real people always will (always have) pay the cost of higher taxes. Let consumers – and voters – beware!
When politicians talk about putting a new tax on the oil companies, hold on to your wallets.

Big Oil makes its money by pumping oil out of the ground, not refining and selling it as gasoline. Only a tiny fraction of Exxon’s $36 billion profit last year came from making and selling gas in the U.S.

We need leadership on this energy business, or it is going to cripple our economy. Our energy incompetence has already empowered our enemies. Let’s think for once of the welfare of this country…Be outraged that we are not using our own Resources here in America, Let’s not depend on foreign oil..What is that old saying? Charity begins at home…Let’s use Alaska, the pacific, the Atlantic and the Gulf coasts..let’s stop being silly and destroying ourselves in the process. Enough already!

So let’s get ticked out here. We the people can do this. Big oil AND the Government nor the candidates are looking out for us. Let’s stop rewarding pretending they do.

McCain finally said he would enforce the border security…after much yelling by ‘we the people’..he is not going to change his stance at the present time on what happens to the ‘guest worker program’ pathway to citizenship’ or much else…including drilling….so it is time we make a whole lot more noise….lots of it..if we don’t..if we remain apathetic and lethargic on this…forget this country as you have known it..it won’t be recognizable in just a few short years…a very few short years…It is time to wake up America! Stand up as a people and bombard your reps with calls, letters and faxes…do it again and again until they have to hear you…let them know we are sick and tired of being sick and tired!

Gore launches $300 Million Campaign

flirt.gif

Oh jeez, the economy is foundering, and now we got Gore  trying to force us all to buy snake oil!

Obama’s chickens (gyrating and waving arms about) have come home to roost

Both Democrats and Republicans often say “follow the money.” If you follow the money on MAN-MADE global warming… you will find  the extreme liberals.

If you ask the biggest proponents of MAN-MADE global warming if they have received or plan to receive personal income because of their MAN-MADE claims, 100% would say YES (followed by ‘what’s wrong with that?’).

I wonder if they ever sell ‘carbon credits’ for 1/2 off. Maybe Al Gore gives a discount if you deposit the funds directly into his Swiss bank account? Slap my face, did I say that?

10 years from now everyone will deny they fell for Al Gore’s nonsense. Until then, we have to live with these idiots spewing their insanity. They sound like a new sect of the Branch Davidians with Al Gore as Jesus and SUVs triggering armageddon.

The far lefties are the only people on earth who play the victim card and scream “CHARACTER ASSASSINATION” when we playback what they just said

In the Al Gore movie, “An Inconvenient Truth”, we see the famous hockey stick chart as proof that global warming is sweeping the Earth. Time and research has taken its toll on that chart. It is no longer regarded as accurate. In fact, it has been quietly dropped by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

Now the global warming advocates point to the increase in Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere. Its up, way up; no argument about that. Our modern civilization, powered by fossil fuels, sends tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere as we generate electricity to power our lights, furnaces and air conditioners, computers, television sets, cellphone and ipods and as we drive gasoline powered cars and fly in airplanes. Our modern standard of living is absolutely linked to CO2. And it has increased in our atmosphere from around 218 parts per million in 1900 to about 375 ppm today. You need to understand immediately that CO2 is a naturally occurring trace element in our atmosphere. For one thing, we humans produce it every time we breathe. Plants and trees must have it to grow. So CO2 was already in our atmosphere before we discovered oil. CO2 is not a pollutant.

AL GORE AND THE 10 INCONVENIENT UNTRUTHS

Hattip and by Aurora of The MidnightSun

Al GoreAl Gore, the high priest of global warming is not being spoken about so enthusiastically these days. Could it be that some people have discovered he’s not all that? And while those of us not consumed with Gaia, the religion, shake our heads at the gullibility of those of the moonbat persuasion, the more cynical of the world of the Left continue to push for environmental policies which have already taken an economic toll. We’re talking about the jobs and the livelihoods of humans here, people, but somewhere along the line, the Left stopped caring or even the pretense of caring about the working class humans, or any humans at all. If Al Gore is wrong, shouldn’t it follow that maybe, just maybe there are plenty more out there who are wrong as well?

Al Gore no longer gives interviews to the Press except where the interviewer has been carefully pre-selected for his sycophancy and for his lack of elementary knowledge of climate science. Likewise, Gore no longer takes questions from the audience at any public meeting unless he is sure that no one in the audience knows anything of climatology. The interview from which the following list of Gore’s latest scientific errors and exaggerations was compiled appeared in India Today on 17 March 2008.

Error 1: “‘Global warming’ is a planetary emergency. It is a crisis and we have to find ways to come to an agreement to reduce the carbon dioxide.”

The facts: There is no “planetary emergency”. Nor is there a “crisis”. If there is an “emergency” or a “crisis”, it is certainly not caused by “global warming”. The increase in global temperatures between 1980 and 1998, when “global warming” stopped, was only half of the small increase shown in the official temperature records (McKitrick, 2006, 2007 in press). In the decade since 1998 there has been no statistically-significant increase in global temperature (HadCRUt3, 2008; US NCDC, 2008; RSS,2008; UAH MSU, 2008; etc.). In the seven years since early 2001, the trend of global temperature has been downward at a rate equivalent to more than 0.4degrees Celsius (0.75 F) per decade:

Error 2: “Today we the people of this planet would put another 70m tons of global warming-pollution into the earth’s atmosphere.”

The facts: “Global warming pollution” is Gore’s favorite phrase for “carbon dioxide.” However, CO2 is not a pollutant, but a naturally-occurring gas. Together with chlorophyll and sunlight, it is an essential ingredient in photosynthesis and is, accordingly, plant food. The reconstruction of palaeoclimatological CO2 concentrations below, taken from Berner (2001), demonstrates that carbon dioxide concentration today is almost at its lowest level since the Cambrian era 550 million years ago, when there was almost 20 times as much CO2 in the atmosphere as there is today, without any threat to animal or plant life, and without causing the “runaway greenhouse effect” that Gore likes to mention:

Meanwhile, the environmentalist madness goes on, slashing and burning businesses and getting whole countries into billions, trillions of dollars of debt. It’s as if they are deaf and blind, or just plain obtuse.

American Thinker has this to say about the media on global warming news compared with others. You will want to check this out. http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2008/03/american_media_ignores_inconve.html

Sarcasm Angie

According to USA Today News, they now know they need to turn up the heat on getting the public support. It seems America’s average citizens are not paying a high enough price, no matter we now are  going to pay a tax to the UN. No matter we are nearly bankrupt. No matter good living wage jobs have gone overseas. No matter our expenses have gone through the roof for necessary items. No matter that our ‘free wheeling’ politicians and Hollywood Celebs like to talk it up and fly their jets and just pay a carbon tax. No matter that most of them live far above ‘average Americans’.  They still will get us to play along through our children shaming us. They will get us to be as sheep and do ‘what everybody else is doing’ to get a smiley face and play along. Yes, that’s right folks, it seems that the hotels noticed when guests were given a suggestion to reuse the towel for the environment. They did not play along..why they wanted a fresh towel. However, when they said the previous guests did help the environment by reusing their linens, why they complied..It’s like the good ole days of schoolchildren, everybody really wants to be like everyone else. They dress alike, jive alike, and so it goes. So line up for the smiley faces 🙂 they are going to be passing out to everyone who complies. Oh, and don’t forget, your children are watching you use that plastic!

Prophet of Gloom or Alarmist

Scary Side of Green

Save the Planet-stop having babies!

Capitalism is destroying the earth, We’re all gonna die..

And of course, there are the population control articles to help save our earth and actually make it more comfortable for the elite, If you want those you can look in the archives.. HUMAN HATRED ,TOP SCIENTISTS CALL FOR POPULATION CONTROL , Soylent Green Rising: E.U.Eugenics to name a few..

Prophet of Gloom or Alarmist

I was reading an editorial I wanted to share with you from The Paducah Sun

Alec Baldwin was spot on even if it was unintentional. In his blog Tuesday the actor activist praised the “Nobel Prize winer Abert Gore.” That little typo succinctly captured the former vice president’s essence. He is such a whiner.

Alarmist Al received his Nobel Peace Prize Monday for his work raising awaremess of global warming. His acceptance speech prompted Callow Alec to call Gore “a true global leader.” Of course, in the same post, Baldwin says Gore was “turned out of the presidency by dangerous Bush operatives,..cowardly Supreme Court justices…and thugs posing as election officials on the payroll of Florida’s governor, Jeb Bush.”

Now that’s a vast right-wing conspiracy.

It’s no surprize that someone gullible enough to believe George Bush could pull off a plot of that magnitude would buy what Gore is selling.                                                                                                                Gore also said the “unwelcome verdict” of his loss to George W.Bush “brought a precious if painful gift: An opportunity to search for fresh new ways to serve my purpos…. That quest has brought me here.”

al.jpg

Gore was at his Chicken Little best at Oslo, citing some new reserach proving that we are even nearer the brink than previously thought. He said, “One study estimated that the (North Polar ice cap) could be completely gone in 22 years. Another new study, to be presented later this week ….warns it could happen in as little as seven years. Seven years from now.”

But the MetSul Weather Center in Brazil reported this week that the Arctic ice cap, which did indeed see a record ice melt this summer, has recovered to within 1 percent of normal with winter yet to begin, while the Antarctic ice cap has grown by 772,000 square miles-nearly 20 times the area of Kentucky-in just the last year.

And a new study published this week in the International Journal of Climatology shows that 22 widely used climate models have gotten it wrong for three decades. The models predicted temperatures in the middle and upper troposphere, one to six miles above the earth’s surface, would rise drastically. But actual temperature measurements have revealed almost no temperature change.

Gore thinks the gloval threat is serious enough to compel governments to immediately, drastically curb carbon emissions. He does not, however, think the threat is serious enough to turn down the temperature of the heated indoor pool at his Nashville mansion. Or to skip his excursion aboard a private jet to the tourist resort Bali this week to meet with 10,000 other well-heeled alarmists who will spend 12 days sipping on coconut-mango daiquiris and wringing their hands over climate change.

Participants at the Bali confab will dump between 47,000 tons (U.N. estimate_ and 100,000 tons (private estimate) of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, most of it from the jets transporting the delegates. That’s about the amount of C02 generated by the country of Chad in a year.

In his acceptance speech, Gore did offer a solution.”Most important of all, we must put a price on carbon-with a C02 tax…to shift the burden of taxation from employment to pollution. This is by far the simplest and most effective way to accelerate solutions to this crisis.

The fix for global warming is new taxes? Oh, Great Guru, we expected something a little more, well, profound after coming so far in search of wisdom. You remind us of a former senator from Tennessed; he also thought the solution to every problem was higher taxes.

He’s right. Had he been elected president, Gore might actually be doing harm. Instead, he serves a new purpose–providing an endless source of material for late night comics, columnists, cartoonists and editorial writers. His persecuted messiah complex produces comically hyperbolic predictions of gloom. which, combined with the hypocrisy of his ostentatious lifestyle, reveal to everyone-except himself, apparently–what a buffoon he is.

It may be ridiculous to honor this charlatan with a Nobel Peace Prize, but the award ensures that Gore will instead of seeking public office, continue to take himself very seriously doing what he is doing, rendering him harmless.

And for the same reason, we’re glad Alec Baldwin never made good on his threat to leave the country if Bush got elected. He provides almost as much material as the “true global leader.”

People, let’s get a grip..Besides Power & Prestige …follow the money..follow the power prestige mongers. Internationalism, Loss of American Sovereinty, and redistribution of wealth is the name of the game.

Scary Side of Green

A [sometimes] Logical View of the Illogical

The Scary Side of Green

Thanks to Arclightzero -hat tip Pro Patria

“Guided by a philosophy of deep ecology, Earth First! does not accept a human-centered worldview of ‘nature for people’s sake.’ Instead, we believe that life exists for its own sake, that industrial civilization and its philosophy are anti-Earth, anti-woman and anti-liberty.”

Or so says the “mission statement” of Earth First!, the self-proclaimed radical environmental movement. While Al Gore, Leonardo DiCaprio and all of the trendy environmentalists out there are promoting “green” lifestyles and carbon credits, there is another side of the environmental movement that most people aren’t aware of.

Welcome to the world of radical environmentalism; people who truly believe that man and our civilization is a plague on this planet and people who would like to see the earth returned to the animals.

I hadn’t given these guys much more than a passing thought until Pheisty posted on a scary bunch of radicals yesterday. These people call themselves the “Voluntary Human Extinction Movement” of “VHEMT” (their tag line? “Phasing out the human race by voluntarily ceasing to breed will allow Earth’s biosphere to return to good health“). I’m not going to tread on Phesity’s toes here, as she did a great job of covering this particular looney band of radicals, but it got me thinking… How many of these people are out there? How many groups are out there advocating for the extinction (or at least reduction) of man and civilization in the name of environmentalism?

Part of what caught my attention and sparked my concern was reading some of the feedback to the VHEMT site. Things like:

“Your site just confirmed what I knew was right in my heart…I’m going to make the appointment for my husband to get a vasectomy on Monday”

and

“Thanks for creating your web site. It is a pleasure to read, and to know there is someone out there who has values so similar to my own. I’m already a Volunteer, having had a vasectomy 5 months ago, when I was 34. Now I’m trying to find a way to contribute more actively to the cause of population control (or elimination!)”

Yikes! WTF is wrong with these people? I mean, I’m all for a little conservation and clean living, but voluntary extinction of mankind in the name of the earth? You have got to be kidding me.

So that got me wondering what else the radicals have in mind, and thankfully the VHEMT site provided me with all I needed to know compliments of a “links” page.

The scariest among them was “The Church of Euthanasia” which claims:

“The Church of Euthanasia is a non-profit educational foundation devoted to restoring balance between Humans and the remaining species on Earth. We believe this can only be accomplished by a massive voluntary population reduction, which will require a leap in Human consciousness to a new species awareness.”

These guys are the real thing. They are sick and twisted and absolutely frightening. Read their FAQ and check out their pictures. It’s enough to give you goosebumps. They even provide information on the best ways to kill yourself… Not to mention their link to “emergency contraception” which they tag with “Why wait until the damn thing gets bigger when you can snuff it now? You’ve got 72 hours!”

Next on the list is “Negative Population Growth” which promotes reduced population levels. They claim that:

“NPG advocates gradually halting and then reversing our U.S. population growth so that, after an interim period of population reduction, our population can be stabilized at a level that would be sustainable indefinitely, and afford an adequate standard of living for all, in a healthy environment.”

They also claim to have over 30,000 members. Well, at least they don’t encourage suicide…

Other similar organizations are “Population Connection” and “Optimum Population Trust” both of which support reduced populations.

But even if we go more mainstream, this sort of weirdness continues. Remember the Treehugger.com guide to a green sex life? Remember that they specifically state that “of course the biggest ecological impact resulting from sex is a baby.”

But now lets get back to the Earth First! people because their view doesn’t necessarily call for suicide, but it does call for some peculiar things that sound an awful lot like a call to terrorism against our civilization. Take, for instance, this line from their website:

“It is not enough to oppose the construction of new dams and developments. It is time to free our shackled rivers and restore the land.”

Well there’s a real head scratcher. What can we infer about their intentions from that statement? Or what about this statement:

“When the law won’t fix the problem, we put our bodies on the line to stop the destruction”

Sounds pretty radical… But that is just the tip of the iceberg for Earth First!ers. What they refer to as “monkeywrenching” is actually sabotage or vandalism. As they say directly on their website:

Monkeywrenching: Ecotage, ecodefense, billboard bandits, desurveying, road reclamation, tree spiking, even fire. All of these terms describe the unlawful sabotage of industrial extraction and development equipment, as a means of striking at the Earth’s destroyers where they commit their crimes and hitting them where they feel it most—in their profit margins.

Whoa. So, in other words, it’s acceptable to do these sorts of things in the name of the earth? These people are unhinged and dangerous. Stopecoviolnce.com has compiled some quotes from so-called eco-defense radicals and eco-terrorist supporters.

I will close with a quote from Mike Roselle, co-founder of Earth First! and founder of the Ruckus Society, and let you ponder what is at stake as the green movement moves into the mainstream and more people jump on the Al Gore bandwagon only to want to take that next step forward…

“Monkey-wrenching is more than just sabotage, and you’re goddamn right, it’s revolutionary! This is jihad, pal. There are no innocent bystanders, because in these desperate hours, bystanders are not innocent…Go out and get them suckers, fill’em full of steel…”

Capitalism is destroying the earth, We’re all gonna die..

an-inconvenient-truthpoliticsenvironment.jpg

I have been reading ‘An Inconvenient Book’ by Glenn Beck, thought I would share some juicy tidbits from his chapter on Global warming. Yes, I know some of you are turned off right there. But wait…you do want to know a few facts right? Like some infamous quotes, said goal of environmental movement, Before we espouse something, we really need to know some of the truths behind certain movements as well as some motives, would you not agree?

globew.gif

Last month, it was reported in the paper that the Earth, one third of all animal and plant species is going to be dead. That’s right and we are running out of time. Via Al Gore and the IPCC report. This is just an update of the report they’ve issued over and over that, this it it, final warning: running out of time.

The London Times, says that the only solution is taxes$. Wow! Global taxes$. Just what the world needs, if you ask me, Let’s all pay more, heck, let’s just pay extra when we flush the loo.(love that word) Pay extra when you drive your car. You are polluting, ya know! Go green for the Holidays! That’s another post…sorry cyber buddies.

Here are some quotes, read if you dare.

Canada’s former environmental minister, Christine Stewart. “Climate change provides the greatest chance to bring about justice and equality in the world”.

  Hello, Justice, equality?

If you think health care is expensive now,
wait until you see what it costs when it’s free!
P.J. O’Rourke

Here is another from Christine Stewart.  “No matter if the science is all phony, there is still collateral environmental benefits to global warming policies.

Steven Schneider: “To capture the public imagination, we have to offer up some scary scenarios, make simplified dramatic statements and little mention of any doubts one might have. Each of us has to decide the right balance between being effective and being honest.”

Did you see that? Here is someone promoting ‘the end result justifies the means.’ Do we really want to listen to someone that admits to well, it’s better to be effective than honest. Who is this guy? Stephen Schneider was the lead UN IPCC report author. In 2007 he is still playing a major role. This is also one of the guys who authored one of the original reports that started the global cooling scare of the Seventies, still one of the lead guys.

Dave Foreman, founder of Earth First: ” Phasing out the human race will solve every problem on Earth, social and environmental.”

Aren’t you loving this attitude? Wow, he must not have any love in his life.

Prince Phillip,World Wildlife Federation really WWE. “If I were reincarnated, I would come back, return to the Earth as a killer virus to lower human population levels.”

Man, do these people believe in ‘What the world needs now is love’ or what?

George Monbiot, environmental author last year: “Every-time someone dies as a result of floods in Bangladesh airline executives should be dragged out of office and concerned.”

Yeah right, let’s all get warm and fuzzy now.

Helen Cox, Union of Concerned Scientists, “Free Enterprise really means rich people get richer. They have freedom to exploit and psychologically rape their fellow human beings in the process. Capitalism is destroying the Earth. Every-time you turn on an electric outlet, you are making another brainless baby.”

The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of the blessings.
The inherent blessing of socialism is the equal sharing of misery.
Winston Churchill

Gee, I didn’t know that working hard and trying to improve ones circumstances was exploiting and raping and as far as babies go, well, let’s just say it has been a long time. I do turn on the lights however, I like candles in certain situations of which we shall not go into here. Me, I’m just an average middle class over the hill, with a fat arse trying to help make my family’s life better.

Michael Oppenheimer, Environmental Defense Fund:”The only hope for the world is to make sure there is not another United States. We cannot let other countries have the same number of cars, the amount of industrialization we have in the U.S. we must stop third world countries right where they are.”

Wow, so much for democracy and forget about the pursuit of happiness. Now I know, my car won’t bring me happiness, but I submit to you, driving a car to the nearest town is a whole lot better than a bicycle when you are as I have already shared with you. Remember, over the hill, fat arse, yada yada. The point is, do these people really care about people having a better life or a free life? What is the motive behind the lies, we know they don’t care, betcha they got ca$h cars and jets too and I bet they flush more than once a day and turn on the lights too!

Listen, I have no problem with recycling, turning off lights to save on utilities, nor do I have a problem with saving gas mileage, less pollution in whatever way albeit a hybrid or whatever.

I do have a problem with shady hypocritical motives and manipulation as I know you do. I do have a problem with too much Big Brother. I do have a problem with our Country being trashed. I do have a problem with having an opinion if I have not studied and researched to the best of my ability what is really going on with the issues I care about. Sometimes it is just too easy to go with the flow. To believe the hype. Just because I read it or heard it through the Media, does not mean it is always true. Usually a lie or exageration comes dressed with a little bit of  truth, just enough to get by unless exposed. That’s how they get us. They deceive us to get what they want. Let’s see, the Bible says. ‘The love of money is the root of all evil” note,  it does not say money is evil. Just what kind of evil you will do to get it.

is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys.
P.J. O’Rourke

Did you know, that according to a recent study by Michigan State University, “we should save our marriages to save the environment.” Hey now really, Must they go so far as to intrude there too?  Arclightzero has an a great post on that on his site, go check it out on Pro Patria or on side bar if link does not work. He has a link on the scary side of green that is excellent, http://arclightzero.wordpress.com/2007/11/05/the-scary-side-of-green/

This is the goal of the environmental movement, to stop America, to stop development, to stop the Third World, to redistribute the wealth, to take your money and give it to an organization that can better decide how it should be distributed. It is the global movement for Justice and Equality. Now, that’s not what our neighbor thinks. In fact, we are being sold on it continuously through T.V. and yes companies that want to profit from our Go Green mentality. But the above is true and at some point Americans have got to unite and stand with the truth. There is no dismissing our future.

“If you don’t read the newspaper you are uninformed,
if you do Read the newspaper you are Misinformed.”
Mark Twain

They know the time to strike is now, the time to get these treaties through are now. I don’t care if it’s a Republican or Democrat. Republicans are starting down this road because so many Americans have been co-opted into this lie that they are going to have no spine and they are going to go along with it. This is a plot from the far far left, and we all have no idea what is going on. Remember John Edwards when he said” This is going to cause great pain, higher energy prices, higher gas prices, higher food prices, we’re going to pay higher taxes but we’ve got to do it and there may be more on the horizon that we don’t even know but we’ve got to do it.’

I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity
is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.
Winston Churchill

Government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases:
If it moves, tax it.
If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
Ronald Reagan (1986)

Hey, the world is getting warmer. The Earth has always gotten warmer and then it has gotten warmer and then it has gotten colder. For instance, “Time” magazine wrote in 1924 (no I was not around then) about global warming..I’m sorry, global cooling. And then in ’39 it was global warming. And then in ’74 it was global cooling and then it’s warming again.  The ‘New York Times” did the same thing, 1924, stories all about global cooling. ’35, global warming, ’75. global cooling. Today it’s warming again. It happens over and over and over again, but they have so captured the imagination and the fear of people that we’re all going to be wiped off the face of the planet and it is a lie! It is a lie! Read the phrases from the environmentalists that should open our minds and open our eyes and arm us with ability to save the open-minded people that are left, the ones that have been duped, the ones who don’t know. They are all good intentioned but have been hoodwinked.

Foreign aid might be defined as a transfer of money
from poor people in rich countries to rich people in poor countries.
Douglas Casey, Classmate of Bill Clinton at Georgetown University

Yes America has problems, Does it need to improve? Yes, but this is my country and I believe it is the greatest country on earth. Am I prejudiced? Sure, just like I’m prejudiced about my kid and my grandsons, they are the best looking cutest smartest kids to grace this world. Seriously, this post would take up far too much room to discuss today all the good, yes good that the American people have done and are doing to better the world. I may do that sometime. I think we would all be surprised. Why, because we are trashed so much by our own Media that has the right to do that because of American sacrifices.

Our forefathers would be turning over in their grave if they could know how we have yes, even changed history to be politically correct. Heck, in some cases, it is not even taught! We are so careful not to offend that it has ‘honest to God’ become a landmine. Have we lost our ability to be entrusted with so great a gift as our Ancestors fought for?

A government big enough to give you everything you want,
is strong enough to take everything you have.
Thomas Jefferson

We have no concept of what is right around the corner, and what is right around the corner is the loss of sovereignty.  Gang, the Sea Treaty that has been proposed once again is about giving up our sovereignty on the sea. It is about our Navy answering to the Great Whoever! Combine loss of that with The Big Environment push, not to mention unsecured borders that any terroist can cross.  It is about the destruction of the United States of America.

Actually I am an Independent Conservative Liberal! I am fiscally conservative (concerned about a Big Brother Big government mentality) with compassion that can make up my own mind based on the issues that are important to me. That is not a politically correct stance. Until somebody steps up and takes the bull by the horn, I just feel they all have a way to go to get my vote.

Democracy must be something more than two wolves and a sheep
voting on what to have for dinner .
James Bovard
