Obama and Infanticide..Extreme Pro Abortion

These are good posts I’ve read on Obama’s radical pro-abortion stance and what an Obama presidency will mean. It is also a riposte to those Christians who say they’ll be voting for Obama. The author, Robert P. George. is Professor of Jurisprudence at Princeton University.

Robert George: Obama and Infanticide
co-authors: Yuval Levin,

Obama’s latest excuse ‘cough’ lie for opposing the Illinois Born-Alive Infants Protection Act is that the law was ”unnecessary” because babies surviving abortions were already protected. It won’t fly.

Robert George: Obama’s Abortion Extremism

Sen. Barack Obama’s views on life issues ranging from abortion to embryonic stem cell research mark him as not merely a pro-choice politician, but rather as the most extreme pro-abortion candidate to have ever run on a major party ticket.
Below is an interview of Governor Palin with Dr. James Dobson.

Palin: Nov. 4 results in God’s hands

‘Seek His wisdom and guidance in putting this nation back on the right track’

While I agree with her, I feel that if we continue to go on the paths we obviously have chosen, that God will move his protection furrher away, because this is what we have chosen..to be further away…we have pushed and pushed Him away. We do have a free will. It is up to us to choose God’s Blessings and what kind of country we want in the future.

  1. Angie, I read something over at Washington Post today…supposedly a more ‘conservative’ media provider, trying to clear Obama’s name of the charge of infanticide and to make Sarah Palin look bad. Apparently she brought up his NO vote to the Born Alive legislation. The liberals on there trying to cover his sorry butt were a miserable lot but, the good news is that many were disgusted by Obama’s actions and even one liberal who was ‘pro-choice’…(I would say pro death) …couldn’t bring herself to agree to the death of an abortion survivor left in a clinic bucket somewhere. Some of the commentators were extreme left and simply made themselves and their movement look so very bad. One said that if the mother who aborted the child wanted her dead, who was anyone else to let her live? Honestly the thinking is just so debased and so rock bottom. Makes you wonder how they can live with themselves.

  2. Sorry, I didn’t make that very clear…Where I said this:

The liberals on there trying to cover his sorry butt were a miserable lot

I meant the liberal commentators at the end of the article.

  3. As the father of a Down Syndrome son (soon to be 33, Dec. 23) I have made my position crystal clear.
I am pro-life anti-abortion. In all honesty even though I have not had to face this with either my daughter or granddaughter (step-granddaughter by my stepdaughter) if they were to think about an abortion I would as strongly as I could discourage them. However I would fully support them in their decision because my love for them outweighs my own personal convictions. Hypocritical, maybe, probably but honest. My daughter had questions about her 2nd child but even having a Down Syndrome brother never leaned towards not having him. An attest, ent to the viability of these children to live happy and productive lives.

  4. Well said Angie. I truly wonder about people who support Obama and claim to believe in God, how can you when the fellow is so extreme on something like abortion.

  5. Ahhh, hypocrites thy name is politics. The same people that are surprised that democrats aren’t ashamed of being pro-choice fully support the death penalty. Why aren’t Republicans ashamed? For the same reason Democrats aren’t… because most people will find a way to justify whatever they want to believe to make themselves feel bigger and better than the other guy.
