May Be Subject To Food Rations, Warns UN

And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A loaf of bread for a day’s wages, and three measures of barley for a day’s wages; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.Revelations 6:5-6

Experts warn of food riots as foreign troops cleared to patrol American cities

The UN is warning of a food shortage crisis and drawing up plans for food rations which will hit even middle-class suburban populations as inflation and economic uncertainty causes the prices of staple food commodities to skyrocket.

The United Nation’s World Food Programme cautions today that if it doesn’t receive more funding, it will have to halt food aid to developing countries like Mexico and China.

“The WFP crisis talks come as the body sees the emergence of a “new area of hunger” in developing countries where even middle-class, urban people are being “priced out of the food market” because of rising food prices,” reports the Financial Times.

The warning coincides with a speech by William Lapp, of US-based consultancy Advanced Economic Solutions, who cautioned that rising agricultural raw material prices would translate this year into sharply higher food inflation.

It also parallels a prediction by Don Coxe, a Chicago-based global portfolio strategist for BMO Financial Group who correctly forecast the fall of the dollar and the rise in price of gold and oil years in advance, who last week spoke of a “global food crisis” which will cause the world to enter into, “A period of food shortages and swiftly rising prices,” leading to government embargoes.

With the U.S. on the verge of a recession and, as many analysts have warned, a potential second great depression, those long scoffed at for hoarding vast quantities of storable food may unfortunately be able to say “I told you so” if the dollar continues to deteriorate and people begin to be priced out of the food market.

Global food prices have skyrocketed by as much as 60 per cent in the past year, while UN officials warn of the likelihood of food riots.

“If prices continue to rise, I would not be surprised if we began to see food riots,” said Jacques Diouf, director-general of the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organisation, last October.

Many see the food shortages, whether real or manufactured, as simply another pretext for the implementation of martial law and the introduction of foreign troops to patrol major U.S. cities.

A recent announcement by Northcom confirmedthat U.S. and Canadian troops will be allowed to patrol each other’s countries in the event of a national emergency.

“U.S. Air Force Gen. Gene Renuart, commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command, and Canadian Air Force Lt.-Gen. Marc Dumais, commander of Canada Command, have signed a Civil Assistance Plan that allows the military from one nation to support the armed forces of the other nation during a civil emergency,” reads a Northcom press release.

Note from Angie

I did a post earlier on the

PREMEDITATED MERGER Inside the hush-hush North American Union confab

that speaks of this, I do want to caution that the websites that this info was taken, I am not familiar with and some of it on there seemed strange to say the least. So read with caution as to the authors.  Also I have found that there is usually some truth mixed in with ones agenda. I do believe there is a food shortage coming, evident from the various news sources..price of wheat. I know personally a restaurant owner that was paying in the fall $7 for her flour, paid 30 dollars last month, they told her it would be 40 dollars next time.. The Price of wheat is continually the U.S. exports for better prices..

I also know there was an alliance with the North American Joint Military.. So lets try to discover the real truth together and prepare as much as we possibly can because if we are wrong and there is no food crisis or such.. That would be good news but at the same time, so much better to plan and be prepared for whatever may come.

Source below from What it all means

Russian Military Analysts are reporting in the Kremlin today that the United States has, for the first time in its history, granted rights to a Foreign Army to have ‘full power’ over the life and death of American Citizens in their own country.Though not being reported to the American people by their propaganda media organs, the United States Northern Command Military Leader, US Air Force Gen. Gene Renuart, and his Canadian counterpart, Air Force Lt.-Gen. Marc Dumais [both pictured top left] announced this new Military Pact this past week, and as we can read:“U.S. Air Force Gen. Gene Renuart, commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command, and Canadian Air Force Lt.-Gen. Marc Dumais, commander of Canada Command, have signed a Civil Assistance Plan that allows the military from one nation to support the armed forces of the other nation during a civil emergency.“This document is a unique, bilateral military plan to align our respective national military plans to respond quickly to the other nation’s requests for military support of civil authorities,” Renuart said. “Unity of effort during bilateral support for civil support operations such as floods, forest fires, hurricanes, earthquakes and effects of a terrorist attack, in order to save lives, prevent human suffering and mitigate damage to property, is of the highest importance, and we need to be able to have forces that are flexible and adaptive to support rapid decision-making in a collaborative environment.”

It is interesting to note, too, that the Canadian peoples, like their American neighbors to the south, were not told of these plans for their Military Forces, and as we can read as reported by Canada’s Canwest News Service, and who say:

“Canada and the U.S. have signed an agreement that paves the way for the militaries from either nation to send troops across each other’s borders during an emergency, but some are questioning why the Harper government has kept silent on the deal. Neither the Canadian government nor the Canadian Forces announced the new agreement, which was signed Feb. 14 in Texas.”

Russian Colonel Gen Vladimir Bulgakov, Commander of Russia’s Far East Military District, points out in these reports that it is ‘no wonder’ that neither the US or Canadian War Leaders want the masses of their citizens to know about these ‘unprecedented’ events as ‘soldiers by their inherent training are for use in war, not peace’.

These reports further note that though Canada currently possesses 125,000 active Military and 36,500 Reserve Troops, the majority of which have been ‘combat hardened’ in the US Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the only Canadian Troops available for any, so called, ‘civil emergency’ in the United States, are soldiers from its Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM), and which Russian Military Commanders rate as being one of the top Special Forces Units among all of the World’s Army’s.

The more likely use of these Canadian Troops on American Soil, these reports go on to say, would be for the patrolling of US Cities during times of civil war, internal unrest, or, most fearfully, the assisting of US Police in the rounding up of masses of US Citizens for arrest and internment.

This assessment of the truest intentions of the United States War Leaders granting power over their own citizens to Canadian Special Forces Troops, appears to be supported by information coming from US Troops returning from Iraq, and as we can read as reported by the Prison Planet News Service in their report titled “U.S. Troops Asked If They Would Shoot American Citizens“, and which says:

“U.S. troops are being trained to conduct round-ups, confiscate guns and shoot American citizens, including their own friends and family members, as part of a long-standing program to prepare for the declaration of martial law, according to a soldier who recently returned from Iraq.We received an e mail from “Scott”, a member of a pipefitters union that runs an apprenticeship program called Helmets To Hard Hats, which according to its website, “Is a national program that connects National Guard, Reserve and transitioning active-duty military members with quality career training and employment opportunities within the construction industry.”

Scott writes that his company hired a soldier who had recently returned from Iraq, who told him that U.S. troops were being quizzed on whether or not they would be prepared to shoot their own friends and family members during a national state of emergency in America.”

An estimated time-line in these reports states that the American people could begin seeing Canadian Soldiers in their cities as early as this summer, as many experts are predicting that the massive food shortages being reported all around the World will begin causing food riots in many American cities.

To how bad the Global Food Crisis is becoming we can read as reported by Australia’s Adelaide Now News Service, and which says:

“A WORSENING global food shortage is a problem far more urgent than climate change, top Australian scientists have warned. The Australian Science Media Centre briefing heard why prices for some staple foods had risen by as much as 60 per cent in the past year, and how dramatic price rises are expected to sweep across all staples in the near future.”

There remains no evidence to suggest, either, that the American people themselves are aware of the brutal future being planned for them.  Even more sadly, perhaps, is the evidence suggesting that they don’t even want to know.

I can only add that I hope our countries have not gone so low as not to prepare us or prepare for us..Oh, that they had the wisdom of Joseph when he USED his God given wisdom to save his people and Egypt from famine. My hope is that this is exaggerated..especially the part where our own soldiers would have to take us to task. In any event, we need to pray for wisdom and people everywhere. It does seem the world is gearing up for the so called ‘New World Order’.

  1. You know Angie, I always bristle on these types of predictions. The truth is in the last several years since 9/11 to present day, we’ve had more crisis than possibly any other time in modern history – worse, I’m told than during the great depression. And yet, somehow we have managed to not crumble, fall apart or all move into shopping carts.

I do believe that the UN does have its own agenda and it is its strongest wish to run the United States under its one world government model. So, I usually take most of what they say with a grain of salt.

As to the markets and the economy – if you think about it, we have an economic slump every 6-7 years – it seems to be cyclic and in my lifetime, I’ve grown used to it.

I also feel that if they just left this to the free market instead of trying to government-ize everything, that the markets would right itself a lot more quickly. No matter how evil corporations are (sarcasm intended here) they aren’t going to not sell their goods, so if the public stops paying for their goods, you can believe that they will lower the prices.

The consumer actually has much more impact on the market than the dang U.N. or other government agencies. If we don’t buy or refuse to buy things at certain prices, that provider will change the price in order to get us to buy.

Many people thought 9/11 would crumble us too – but surprise, we’re still here. Know what I mean?

I never thought 9/11 would crumble us. I thought it would pull us together and on a common mission to protect the free world from the nut jobs on their own mission.

I have always been a bit leary, it is good to be skeptic. With that said, I have been doing some more research and everything seems to point to very possible food shortages. Much depends on weather of course, we don’t have a ‘bank’ if you will of food as we once did and wheat is extremely low, some is due to the exporting of U.S. wheat for better prices overseas. We know what is happening to corn, same story and ethanol. Anyhoo, it does not seem to present a pretty picture. Yes, I agree if we stop buying prices will lower, same with gas for cars.. But many of these foods are staples to make so many other foods. I am a capitalist with all the above, BUT something is missing here.. I wish we had leaders that put US first, then took care of the rest of the world.. Am I dreaming that they have our best interests at heart? I think I have been asleep for a long time in the trust department. lol! 🙂

  2. Bravo Angie!…Oh, that they had the wisdom of Joeseph when he USED his God given wisdom to save his people and Egypt from famine. ..what a great line!..It says it all! 🙂

Great lines usually have some truth, don’t ya think? Thanks Angel. 🙂

  3. This is scary stuff, you guys, you have to PROTECT yourself for this potential situation. A lot of people don’t realized that a lot of companies are reducing the SIZE of the product sold to keep the price the same.

“What analysts say is rare is the spikes are hitting all major foods in most countries at once. Food prices rose four percent in the U.S. last year, the highest rise since 1990, and are expected to climb as much again this year, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

As recently as last December, 37 countries faced food crises. Twenty more had imposed some sort of food-price controls.

The U.N.’s World Food Program says it’s facing a $500 million shortfall in funding this year to feed 89 million needy people.

In decades past, farm subsidies and support programs allowed major grain exporting countries to hold large surpluses, which could be tapped during food shortages to keep prices down. But new trade policies have made agricultural production much more responsive to market demands – putting global food reserves at their lowest in a quarter century.” For more see:

A lot of people don’t know that Wheat stored in buckets (not flour – wheat) can be stored for 20 years. Great reference sites:,11666,7797-1-4222-1,00.html,11677,1706-1,00.html

I am not LDS but they got it going on in the preparedness department!!

    Also, check out

We have used this company and love them! They are great about answering questions and up front with shipping costs. IF you decide to get some storage THINK about it. The pre-made packages are tempting because it is easy and although you can survive quite some time on those items you will get BORED and your system will have to make a big adjustment. So play around, look at the fruit and veggie options, look into the comfort foods (like pudding and things).

I used to think this was crazy, but we made the investment after doing research and I came across a post where a guy said that he was able to make his mortgage payment after losing his job because he and his family had prepared food storage.

Also, many people do NOT understand how getting a loaf of bread happens. We no longer have grain storage. Grain comes to the bigger cities by train weekly where it is ground into flour shipped to the bakery and bread is made. So IF anything happens to that supply line there is no bread… no joke.

So worth getting prepared. No? 🙂

Excellent helpful links, Myst. I too am not LDS. Ya gotta give em credit for readiness in any and all situations.
I thought it was crazy too. Guess I thought my mind was sounder than it is.. LOL! 🙂

  4. Oh one final note… yeah yeah… should change my name to pynksurvivalchick or something…

Ladies… think of things that YOU personally need and think about stocking up on those too… stupid stuff like toilet paper and … you know… *those* products are worth adding to the pantry… not like they expire.

Yeah, especially my eyeliner and lipstick..LOL! and don’t forget paper towells and such… What would we take on a desert island might be good..??

  5. I think the greatest measure is to follow scripture that informs all of us to stay alert. I agree we didn’t crumble post 9/11, and we have rallied in the midst of numerous upheavals. Only, the increasing signs of the time will continue without fail. We are moving amid God’s plan. Of which scripture further tells us to not worry about anything and to pray about everything.

I have to remind myself continuously of that. I worry about lots of things, and it robs precious time from my enjoyment of life. I have to remember the importance of the matter is to stay alert.

You are so right Pink Biz. I too have to remind myself.. I admit I still find myself amazed at the way this blog has evolved with going from ‘not serious at all’ to that’s all it is anymore…Serious stuff we need to know. Oh my..whatever..
    Hugs to you

  6. Angie, you’re so on the mark here. Before seeing your post, I had already posted on the same topic tonight. I think now I will add in some of what you’ve got here and link back to you.
Yes we need to be ready. I have known that America would be first hit for a while but at the same time, there are many Americans who know and are expecting this so that it not ‘take them unawares’. I really pray that large numbers of Christian Americans will be guided as to how to save themselves and their families as Noah did by listening to God BEFORE the great flood, not after the rain started.

Your blog is always on the mark. I will visit as soon as I can.. going to be gone a couple days and no laptop for awhile…it went to puter least for awhile..purgatory perhaps?? 🙂

My concern is that there are just as many Americans that are unaware. Prayer is the most important thing we can do and be alert and ready..Oh, I pray we listen..

  7. […] is the tip of the iceberg. It’s coming to THE WESTERN WORLD (via Angie’s Blog): Experts warn of food riots as foreign troops cleared to patrol American […]

  8. Wow Angie what an amazing post! You know I think the media plays on our emotions but when they don’t pick up the government bailing out a major firm like Bear Sterns and scream to the world or other governments bailing out their banks…what does that tell us???

For me and mine we’ve noticed the crunch since 2004, we moved to a smaller house with less energy bills but we still are paying as much as we were in the big house…in less than 2 years, we are back to the same amount. Imagine if we’d stayed in the other.

The good things I can see coming, home gardens for veggies, people staying home and socializing with their own families and neighbors…imagine that! ha

That tells us a lot, CG. The crunch is real.. and for an optimist, I have to be pessimistic about this.. Hate to say it, but I see it getting worse.. dang, that hurts to say that.

Like your last sentence.. gardens, staying home and maybe we can add sitting on the porch with a guitar or something.. versus T.V.? We have great time savers to have no time for the important 🙂

  9. Awesome, Awesome post, TnT!! (<<New name for you! ;-)))

I agree wholeheartedly with Pink Biz in being conscious nothing is going to happen that God can’t handle. One place is Amos 3:7 that teaches He reveals to His servants what’s going to happen, but can’t recall the exact place of another scripture I read recently. Anyway, good point to keep Jesus’ ultimate kingdom in the picture!! As y’all say, it’s easy to get caught up in the drama and I find myself fretting about souls more than anything.

Good work on bringing Revelation into the post, TnT. It’s like the Bible revealing itself!

Does it seem religion is in the political realm in a much more intense way than in times past? Or, is that just me more aware of it? Politics, economy, religion, currency, food, military, etc. etc. all under one world domination—fascinating to watch.

Pynkmyst, thanks for the links and kudos to you for emergency preparedness!! I admire you for looking out for yourself and family. This has been on my mind a lot lately and I read a newsletter recently that was adamant about ammo, 4 wheelers, generators and so on but, imo, he went too far (arsenal!) and made it sound like “The sky is falling! The sky is falling!” and that’s the kind of stuff that makes others call us crazy.

TnT, I’m glad you put a caution about some of these sites; it can get very conspiracy-ish. . . understandably so, but it does kinda make the head spin, eh?

(TnT-My little ‘bigot’ commenter did not appreciate that I quoted scriptures in comments back to you—he took it personal (as was my intention) and gave me permission to “leave all the comments I like” on my blog. That’s why I just delete meanness—I never go to others’ blogs and attack them! Gay sex in public parks? C’mon! Times of Noah, indeed! Matthew 24:37—please know that I do that for passers-by who may not know, not to insult anyone’s intelligence. )

Thank You for so much needful and timely information!! WOW!

    Love & Hugs!

You be so welcome, thanks for the TnT, that does seem to go better with how this blog has evolved. LOL! Aw, we can’t really worry about what they may not like..we just have to tell it like it we know it to be. Can’t imagine anyone thinking Gay sex in public parks is o.k. nor Heterosexual as far as that goes..Ya just wanta ask..What the heck are they thinking? Of course, it is to desensitize us to everything so all will be accepted no matter how sick it is or how it hurts our children and the very fabric of our society.

  10. Came back to share this link from a Christian brother in my blogroll who has been a tremendous blessing— Grace County —

He has a link in that post to another blog post “The Underground Church” and end times/prophetic links on one of his pages. We don’t know the time or the hour but cetain things are warnings/alerts, according to scripture.

Just thought you’d enjoy his work!

Thank you for the link. Yes, I loved his blog and the link to the underground church is amazing. I have read some of his works and I cannot tell you how this link is needed. You are so good to share it. Appreciate it Immensely.

  11. Hey wordforit, a generator and ammo is really not a bad idea. Ammo is great because you can barter it – hopefully you won’t have to use it… all the same good to have a round or two around. We have a generator already because trees fall and power goes out. 🙂

I know there are a lot of people who talk about BOV (bug out vehicles) and take things to the extreme. I want to be in the middle. 🙂 I think we have a good balance in our house. We have not started burying anything in the woods though… yet… LOL

On a serious note, things everyone should have: wheat, corn, yeast, pasta, TVP, molasses or honey (for sweetening), oats, coffee (if you drink it, if you don’t it will also be good for barter), wheat/corn grinder with spare parts or two, comfort foods, dehydrated veggies and fruits, obvious things like TP, soap, etc. Don’t forget a dutch oven and camp cookware and cooking candles. I am still not convinced that the power outage in Florida was not terrorist activity… seems strange.

I know that LDS has a better list, and even if people can not afford to go buck wild on a big amount for storage at least make the decision to do a few things or pick up extra things at the store. It is food. You will either use it or worst case, you can donate it later.

Also – anyone who has prescriptions they can not live without should have a couple months supply when possible and everyone should have good first aid kits. Not just bandaids and neosporin. Again, this can be multipurpose, think hiking – road trips – etc.

Pink Myst, These are excellent suggestions. You are so helpful, Thank you so much.
    Love and hugs to ya!
